Maui, Hawaii Trip - day 4

Footprintz

Big Beach

Trek from naked beach. I perched on this little side cave and just snapped pics of people.

These guys caught me and posed for me. They were awesome. Everyone here was in a good mood.
Went to Makena later in the afternoon. This is a beach called Big Beach at the Makena State Park.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - day 4

More stuff from the lavender farm. The first two shots are a plant called Succulent. They look like flowers made of plastic. They're cool looking and everywhere here. The third plant down actually grows that way. That is not from bugs. Thought that was cool. They also had a plant that grows in such a way that it traps the water in its roots. It is a member of the pineapple family. I cant recall the name tho. Basically, the tour guide Cookie filled my head with tons of information which I have since forgotten.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - day 4

My mother grows lavender on our farm in Texas and she told my brother and I to go do some recon and check out the big one on Maui. We did. The whole farm smelled soooo amazing. Like sex on teh nose. The gift shop had lavener everything. They give walking tours for $12. Also while you are walking the farm you can see paragliders landing up on the hill because there is a company there that offers the service.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - day 4

This is the lovely miss Evangelina.

She lives where i'm staying while here on Maui. She's very smart and as I listen to her speak she constantly reminds me how intelligent a 5 year old actually is. This is her doll. She explained to me that she painted her face purple. I told her I liked her hair and shoes. You know how us girls are.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - Day 3

Pics from my snorkel. There was this Humuhumunukunukuapua'a, (the hawaiian name for the fish) otherwish known as the Hawaiian Trigger Fish. I prefer to just say the latter of the names. Anyways, I came across it and then it hid in this piece of coral. I backed off a bit to see if he would leave, but he didnt. So I swam away.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - Day 3

My bro and I went to eat lunch at a nice little scenic view that over looks a small kitesurfing/windsurfing/regular surfing haven. Later in the afternoon I bailed from him and went snorkeling again.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - Day 2

In the evening we went to the tourist ridden Lahaina. Here are some shots I took. They had this bigass banyon tree here. I was gonna take shots but it was too dark. Perhaps another day.

Nothing says tropical island like your very own Maui custom airbrushed T.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - Day 2

My loving brother Jeremy

The people in the first pic are my brothers friends Shanti and Silvie. They picked up and hauled our boards for us. They have 3 awesome dogs. Check out Shanti paddle boarding with his dog. Awesome. They caught a wave together at one point. I got some video of it, but it'll be a while before I get that up.

Maui, Hawaii Trip - Day 2

So my second day we went paddle boarding. Basically, you take a bigass surfboard, which you stand up on, and a big paddle and paddle around trying to catch waves. Here's the first beach we went to.

Also, picasa only lets me blog 4 pics at a time. I'm too lazy too do anything about it. I'll be posting a few times.
